Living Between Cultures: A Unique Experience

Living between cultures is a special journey. On one hand, it’s exciting and enriching; on the other, it’s filled with moments where you feel misunderstood or a little lost, as if you’re living in two worlds at once.

It’s natural that at times:

  • You find it hard to enjoy life “here” when you feel like you should be “there.”
  • You feel lost—on the outside, everything seems fine, but inside, you’re still searching for your place.
  • You sense that no one fully understands your perspective, making it difficult to be your true self.

It’s precisely in these moments that the potential for deeper self-understanding and discovering your unique path lies. We’re here to accompany you on this journey. As therapists who have also experienced life as immigrants, we understand that living between cultures can become your unique vantage point, allowing you to draw the best from both worlds.

Meet our team

As a team of therapist-immigrants-travelers, we know that living between cultures is not only a challenge—it’s a potential strength. We’ve walked this path ourselves: from the feeling of being torn to discovering that it’s possible to draw the best from both worlds.

That’s why we don’t offer quick fixes or simple advice—because they don’t exist.

We understand your challenges not just from books:

We know the feeling of not quite being “at home” inside out.
We understand what it’s like to rebuild your life in a foreign country.
We get that some things can’t just be “adjusted to.”
We combine professional knowledge with authentic understanding of the challenges of immigration.
We accept all your (even contradictory!) emotions—we know that feelings of loneliness and the need for independence, although they may seem contradictory, don’t exclude each other.

We help turn the sense of not fitting in into a unique life asset. Because we believe that when you stop fighting it, you’ll discover things within yourself that you didn’t even know existed.

See how others have found their path.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the first consultation look like?

The first meeting is a time for you to talk about what is important and challenging for you. We will get to know each other, answer your questions, and together, we will consider the best form of support. The meeting lasts 50 minutes and is fully online.

Is online therapy effective?

Yes—research confirms that online therapy is just as effective as traditional therapy. For people living abroad and those who travel, it has an additional benefit: you can continue the process regardless of changes in your location or time zone.

How often do the meetings take place?

We usually meet once a week. However, we always adjust the frequency to your needs and availability. Sessions last 50 minutes.

What are your working hours?

We offer flexible hours tailored to different time zones—ranging from early morning to late evening. You can choose the time that best fits your daily rhythm.

How long does the entire process take?

Each journey is different. Some people find that a few sessions are enough to feel a significant change, while others opt for longer-term cooperation. It all depends on your needs and the goals we will set together.

In what language are the sessions conducted?

The sessions are conducted in Polish, which allows for the free expression of even the most subtle emotions. If needed, sessions can also be held in English.

Can I change my therapist?

Yes, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. If you feel the need for a change, we will help you find another person from our team.

What if the first session doesn’t meet my expectations?

We want you to feel safe when making the decision to start therapy. That’s why, if after the first session you feel dissatisfied, we will refund the full amount. No questions, no explanations. We respect your autonomy in making decisions.

What are the costs?

An individual session costs 250 PLN (50 minutes). A couples therapy session costs 350 PLN (75 minutes).

How can I prepare for the first session?

You don’t need to prepare anything special. Just make sure you have a quiet space with internet access where you can talk freely. All technical details will be sent to you via email before the session.

We give you complete security!

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with the first consultation, we will refund the full amount. No questions asked – you are the best judge of what you need.
